North Wexford comprises the popular town of Gorey which has grown tremendously in population over the past number of years. There are many beautiful seaside villages popular with Irish Tourists and those visiting from overseas including the picturesque village of Cahore, the summer festival village of Ballygarret, the expanding village of Ferns, the popuar country village of Ballycanew, the famous seaside village of Courtown, Holiday Villages of Kilmuckridge (home to Morriscastle beach) and Blackwater, and many more besides.

Situated in the "Sunny South East" of Ireland, North Wexford is home to many fine sandy beaches ideal for a fun family day out and also popular with local surfers. Roney point in particular is a lovely walk even on a dull day with so much seashells etc to collect - ideal for children.
The famous Curracloe beach is also situated in North Wexford and was the location of the movie hit 'Saving Private Ryan'. Curracloe is also home to a myriad of birds who nest here annually specifically in the north and south Wexford slobs ( Wexford Wildfowl Reserve).

Gorey town in North Wexford has a newly renovated train station providing on site car parking for those commuting to Dublin and Wexford on a daily or weekly basis. The car park is unfortunately not free for rail users (!!).
Gorey train station is located across from the New Gorey Shopping Centre, Home to Dunnes Stores off The Avenue and just before Bolgers hardware in the Business Centre.
